<p>The GIZ Jordan Project <strong>“<em>Digitalisation of TVET in Jordan” </em></strong>is seeking to hire a <strong>“Junior Digitilisation Advisor”</strong> based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.</p>
<p><strong>DigiTVET- </strong>Digitilisation of TVET in Jordan” project is part of the TVET portfolio of GIZ Jordan<strong>,</strong> which aims to strengthen the quality and attractiveness of vocational education and training across the country. Working in close partnership with the Ministry of Education<strong>,</strong> public training providers, and civil society organisations, the project focuses on developing standardised procedures for digital TVET and designing inclusive, barrier-free learning methods that improve access for women and marginalised groups. A core element is the capacity building of teaching staff in both digital methods and inclusive, gender-equitable approaches. By combining technical and pedagogical skills development, the project ensures that learning content and platforms are accessible, engaging, and relevant to diverse learners. These efforts contribute to enabling young people — particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds — to acquire the skills needed in the digital age, while supporting companies in accessing a better qualified and digitally competent workforce.</p>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications and specialist knowledge</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>University degree in a relevant field (IT/ICT, economics, social sciences or equivalent)</li>
<li>At least 2 years of work experience in the field of employment promotion or related areas, e.g. technical and vocational education and training (TVET), private sector development, or in an IT/ICT-related field, preferably in an international context</li>
<li>Solid understanding of IT systems and concepts, with the ability to grasp the technical specifics of digitalisation measures</li>
<li>Basic experience or knowledge in coordinating digitalisation projects, including working with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>

<p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities</u></strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Contributes to the development of a framework for immersive technology integration in the Ministry of Education’s vocational technical education (VTE) system, including design and implementation of a pilot phase with immersive learning content.</li>
<li>Assists in the digitalisation of administrative assessment procedures, including development of a digital solution in close cooperation with IT specialists.</li>
<li>Contributes to the development of digital and AI readiness standards, including design and implementation of a pilot phase to test developed criteria.</li>
<li>Supports the digitalisation of quality assurance within the Ministry of Education, including development of a digital solution in close cooperation with IT specialists.</li>
<li>Provides technical advice and support to other upcoming digitalisation activities/measures in the project and cluster.</li>
<li>Supports the design of digital labour market-oriented teaching and learning offers together with partners from the public sector, private sector and civil society, with a focus on disadvantaged regions and/or groups.</li>
<li>Collects and ensures quality of data for monitoring and evaluation of activities within the project.</li>
<li>Provides other duties at the request of management, such as organisation and documentation of workshops, simultaneous translations from Arabic to English and vice versa, formulating ToRs, etc.</li>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>To perform effective transfer of manufacturing know-how and product knowledge across Hikma manufacturing sites, provide technical support for product troubleshooting and process optimization, and support regulatory filing activities by generating and supplying the required technical documentation that is monitored by R&D.</p><p>Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner during Day-to-day operations.</p><p>Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work Job Specific Accountabilities.</p><p>Lead and support the successful transfer of manufacturing processes, technical knowledge, and product know-how for pharmaceutical products across Hikma Pharmaceuticals manufacturing sites. Act as the R&D representative during the, validation batches manufacturing of new product launches, providing on-site technical oversight and support as needed. Conduct comprehensive reviews of manufacturing and packaging batch records to ensure compliance with approved processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate the effective transfer of technical knowledge from Product Development to Manufacturing by proactively identifying, assessing, and resolving technical risks and gaps. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management Office and Technical Support Unit to ensure successful execution and alignment during the manufacture of the first three commercial/validation batches and support a smooth transition to routine commercial production.</p><p>Review and evaluate technical documentation and outsourced products transfer dossiers for pharmaceutical products planned for transfer from Hikma Jordan (HJ)/Outsourcing lab or Licensors to other Hikma manufacturing sites, or between Hikma manufacturing sites. Assess the completeness, technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing readiness of transfer packages, and provide scientifically sound recommendations to support successful technology transfer activities. Ensure all evaluations are completed accurately and within established timelines to support project milestones and business objectives.</p><p>Preparing and reviewing the supportive and technical documents that are intended to be transferred to other Hikma manufacturing sites or provided to Regulatory Affairs or authorities to complete the registration process at the intended markets, including but not limited to: Product CTDs, declaration letters, comparative dissolution reports, technical transfer reports,and reply to deficiency letters. Ensure all deliverables are completed within the predefined timelines, supported by thorough documentation and, when necessary, targeted research to enable efficient replies and compliant submissions.</p><p>Executing lab trials and submission batches independently in compliance with Quality standards. Preparing documents and reports necessary for trial execution.</p><p>Provide support for product troubleshooting. <p><u>AMR Technical Officer</u></p>
<p><u>Job Summary:</u> </p>
<p>The AMR Technical Officer will support the day-to-day implementation of antimicrobial resistance activities under the STRIDES Jordan Activity. Working under the supervision of the AMR & IPC Advisor, the Antimicrobial Resistance Technical Officer will provide technical and operational support across AMR workstreams, assist in the development of AMR-related tools and materials, and coordinate with government counterparts and implementing partners as directed. The position contributes to AMR surveillance strengthening, capacity building, donor reporting, and workplan tracking, and ensures project activities are implemented in alignment with international best practices and Jordan’s National Action Plan on AMR. </p>

<p><u>Accountabilities:</u> </p>
<ul>
<li>Provides technical support for the implementation of AMR activities in alignment with Jordan’s National Action Plan on AMR and relevant national guidelines. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supports strengthening of AMR surveillance systems, including data collection, analysis, and reporting at the facility and national levels. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assists in the development and dissemination of AMR-related tools, guidelines, training materials, and technical briefs. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Monitors and maintains AMR project protocols, instruments, data sets, manuals, and training materials. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Conducts searches of published literature on evolving issues in AMR, antimicrobial stewardship, and related public health areas. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Responds to technical requests and inquiries from internal and external staff related to AMR activities. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supports implementation of AMR activities under the STRIDES Jordan workplan and tracks delivery of outputs against agreed timelines. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ensures AMR technical implementation is consistent with best practices and meets donor contractual obligations. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supports engagement with the Ministry of Health and relevant government entities on AMR surveillance and stewardship activities, as directed by the AMR & IPC Advisor. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Coordinates with operations and finance teams to support timely and on-budget implementation of AMR activities. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Drafts AMR technical progress reports and contributes to all donor reporting requirements. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Prepares and delivers presentations on AMR progress to the project team and relevant stakeholders. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Contributes to the development and review of annual workplans and AMR technical deliverables. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assists with the development of proposals and AMR technical design documents, based on direction from technical leadership. </li>
</ul>
<p><u>.Applied Knowledge & Skills:</u> </p>
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of AMR, antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) and AMR diagnostics, antimicrobial stewardship, and related public health areas, including familiarity with the Global Action Plan on AMR and WHO AMR core components. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Understanding of Jordan’s public health system, national AMR landscape, and relevant government structures is an advantage. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting AMR programs and government counterparts in Jordan or the broader MENA region preferred. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and verbal, is required. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office and relevant data management tools. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to analyze and interpret AMR laboratory and surveillance data, identify errors, and prepare clear and accurate reports. </li>
</ul>

<p><u>Supervision Given/Received:</u> </p>
<ul>
<li>Reports to the AMR & IPC Advisor. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Has no formal supervisory responsibility; may provide guidance to junior or support staff. </li>
</ul>

<p><u>Education: </u> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent in Microbiology, Public Health, Laboratory Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field. </li>
</ul>
<p> </p>
<p><u>Experience</u> </p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in AMR, microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, or a related public health field. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience providing technical support to AMR or health security programs in Jordan or the MENA region preferred. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization, government agency, or private organization operating in the public health or global health security space. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Professional proficiency in both<strong> Arabic and English</strong>, written and verbal, is required</li>
</ul>
