<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules.</p>
<p>Maintains an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Helps develop long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.</p>
<p>Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Maintains proficiency in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS), and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.</p>

<h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>

<h4>Minimum requirements:</h4>

<li>Must have high school diploma, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum.</li>
<li>Minimum of three years actual Aircraft Plans & Scheduling experience required.</li>
<li>Must possess comprehensive planning and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Must be able to work under deadlines with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Must be able to gain/maintain CEMS access for Engine Management purposes.</li>
<li>Employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, including pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment.</li>
<li>Must be able to deploy to forward locations (other countries) as directed by the government.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear military issued equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods.</li>

<li>Must be able to maintain required DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties during employment.</li>

<li>Must have current/active U.S. driver’s license.</li>

<p>Employee will be part of the deployment pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level electronic maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply basic technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers’ manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs.</p>
<p>USAF equivalent position is Avionics Technician Apprentice.</p>
