We lack qualitative evidence that would allow better identification of what works- the conditions, assets, relationships, and support mechanisms that returnees themselves associate with positive reintegration pathways and outcomes1- distinct from cataloguing barriers and protection risks.&nbsp; This research piece would address that gap with an explicit solutions orientation: the primary analytical question is what successful early reintegration looks like and how we can support more of it, rather than what is going wrong for returnees.
