Proficient with WebMethods Optimize, Monitor, and MWS for dashboard and analytics. <h4>Banking Systems & Integration</h4> Knowledge of core banking (Equation), enterprise archiving (Laserfiche), and card management (Cortex) systems, focusing on ESB interface stability, document handling, performance tuning, and understanding end-to-end banking integration impacts. <h4>Messaging & Middleware</h4> Expert in enterprise messaging with queue/topic management, durable subscriptions, message persistence, large payload handling, and protocol bridging (MQ, HTTP/S, FTP, SOAP, REST). Familiar with banking messaging standards like ISO 8583, SWIFT, FIX, and flat-file exchanges. <h4>Systems & database administration</h4> Strong Linux/Windows server admin skills, shell scripting, performance tuning, plus database management for JDBC, connection pooling, and query optimization (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server). Experienced with scheduling tools and storage configurations for high-volume ESB logging. <h4>Security & networking</h4> Skilled in enterprise security for integration platforms including digital certificate lifecycle, keystore/truststore management, firewall coordination, VPNs, and knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, LDAP/AD integration, and API security policies on WebMethods API Gateway or similar. <h4>Requirements</h4> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. The GIZ-implemented Employment in Jordan 2030 project is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join its team in Jordan. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment that uses creative methods to strengthen civil society organisations in Jordan, enhancing skills, approaches, and opportunities for marginalized youth and communities. About the project? Under the Framework Agreement between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Employment in Jordan 2030 Project (EJ2030) is implemented by the “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH” in close cooperation with its political partner the Ministry of Labour (MoL) and other national partners. In cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, the project aims to strengthen Jordan’s employment system through three interlinked areas of intervention. First, it supports evidence-based labour market policies by developing a comprehensive policy cycle, establishing a Labour Market Information System (LMIS), and assessing the impact of existing employment measures and systems. Second, it promotes safer and more productive work environments by enhancing the institutional capacities of the Central Inspection Directorate and field inspection units, developing the technical, advisory, and digital competencies of labour inspectors and occupational safety and health (OSH) personnel, and designing business development services (BDS) to improve working conditions in enterprises. Third, the project enhances target group-specific labour market services by improving the Ministry’s digital job portal SAJJIL, strengthening the institutional and technical capacities of eight public employment offices and the Central Employment Directorate, designing and implementing tailored employment measures through private service providers. Building on the lessons learned from this emergency response, UNICEF Jordan moved to a vulnerability approach in 2018 - supporting interventions that target the most vulnerable children in the country, regardless of their nationality.ContextUNICEF Jordan Country Office (JCO) is currently in the fourth year of its Country Programme Cycle (2023–2027), a period marked by continuous efforts to support targeted interventions and mainstreaming in gender equality and adolescent girl empowerment across programming and institutional work.
