<p><b><br></b></p><p><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION </b>The Proposal Writing & Business Development Manager leads Amideast Jordan s efforts to expand its donor and client portfolio by identifying funding opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and advancing new business in alignment with the organization s strategic priorities. The role works closely with the Country Director, headquarters, technical teams in the Jordan office as well as regionally, and external partners to strengthen Amideast s market positioning and pursue new opportunities. MAG will work in partnership with the JAF to strengthen their munitions management capacity, enabling implementation of the JAF’s Munitions Infrastructure Master Plan.</p>

<p>You will bring significant experience working internationally at a senior management level, with a strong track record of leading and directing complex programmes. You will have experience overseeing project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, risk management and contract compliance, alongside strong people management experience leading diverse and geographically dispersed teams.</p>
<p>You will have proven expertise in business development, including programme design, networking and contract negotiations, and experience building effective relationships with donors, government bodies, NGOs and local partners. You will also bring experience managing finance, administrative and HR systems to ensure efficient and compliant programme delivery.</p>

<p>The Policy and Advocacy Senior Officer in Palestine works under the responsibility of the Regional Advocacy and Communication Manager, and in close collaboration with the Country Director, the Federal Advocacy and Institutional Relations team (AIR) and the Federal communication team. <p>HI Palestine is currently operating as a stand-alone program under the authority of the Emergency Division, with a dedicated governance framework adapted to the scale and complexity of the crisis. This arrangement, confirmed until the end of 2026, is intended to provide the structural flexibility and operational responsiveness required in the current context, while also anticipating and preparing for a transfer back to Mashreq Programme (regional office). Palestine Coordination is split between Jerusalem and Amman, with a West Bank area office located in Ramallah and a Gaza area office in Zuwayda. <p>The Policy and Advocacy Senior Officer in Palestine works under the responsibility of the Regional Advocacy and Communication Manager, and in close collaboration with the Country Director, the Federal Advocacy and Institutional Relations team (AIR) and the Federal communication team.
