Our experience working closely with government institutions, development partners and the private sector provides a strong foundation for supporting Jordan’s growth agenda.</p><br><p><strong>About the Jordan Growth and Prosperity Programme</strong></p><br><p>ASI is seeking candidates across a range of technical areas to deliver FCDO’s Jordan Growth and Prosperity Programme, a forthcoming economic and private sector development programme intended to strengthen Jordan’s economic resilience and enable job-rich growth. The programme is expected to support both the Government of Jordan and the private sector through two complementary areas of work:</p><br><p>· Macro-level advisory support to maintain macroeconomic stability, improve debt management, and reduce fiscal pressures; and</p><br><p>· Micro-level Market Systems Development (MSD) interventions in selected sectors to foster productive, inclusive private-sector-led growth. There will be a particular focus on enhancing trade and exports.</p><br><p><strong>Call for Experts</strong></p><br><p>ASI is building a diverse roster of core team members and technical experts to support the anticipated Jordan Growth and Prosperity Programme. We are seeking both Jordanian and international specialists who can provide advisory support across the programme’s macroeconomic reform and MSD components. Experts may be engaged during programme inception and implementation, subject to programme award and needs. We particularly welcome candidates with experience in Jordan, but will also consider experts from the Middle East and comparable economic development contexts.</p><br><p>We are seeking experts across the following technical areas. Expertise in macroeconomic modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis, growth diagnostics, and economic impact assessment to inform policy decisions and reform priorities is highly desirable.</p><br><p>· <strong>Public Finance, Fiscal Policy and Debt Management: </strong>Experience strengthening public financial management systems, fiscal governance, tax policy and administration, domestic revenue mobilisation, debt sustainability, sovereign financing strategies, and fiscal risk management.</p><br><p>· <strong>Stakeholder Engagement and Political Economy:</strong> Experience working with business membership organisations, government counterparts, and other stakeholders to identify reform opportunities. <p><h4>Job description</h4>

With 2.1 million people affected, access to food, water, healthcare, and shelter remains critically limited. The scale of destruction and access constraints have created an environment where humanitarian needs far exceed available resources. Together, these dynamics have driven acute and widespread humanitarian needs. Against this backdrop, IMPACT Initiatives is planning a range of research activities to support an evidence- and needs-based humanitarian response. <p>The Trainer 3 is an active member of the Regional Learning Unit -LRU- and contributes to meeting its objectives. S/he leads and/or co-facilitates ICRC LnD learning programmes/courses. These can be: a) Global onboarding LnD programmes such as Working at the ICRC -WICRC-, Staff Integration Programme -SIP- or Security Awareness and Field Experience -SAFE-; b) Leadership and Management programmes such as Leadership and Management Stepping Stones -LMSS-, Humanitarian Leadership and Management School -HLMS- or other L&M courses designed for junior Managers; c) <em>Ad hoc</em> courses delivered by the Regional Unit to cover specific needs of a given delegation or at a regional level. </p>

<p>This is to announce that Amman delegation has a <strong><u>vacancy</u></strong> for <strong>Open-Source Information (OSI) Analyst</strong> at the <strong>Protection Unit in Amman, Jordan.</strong></p>
<p>The OSI Analyst works within the multidisciplinary Search Team under the PFL Deputy Protection in Damascus with the OSI Manager in Geneva as his/her functional manager to provide strategic direction to the response to the Syria missing file. In close coordination with the PFL researchers, Forensic expert, and A&E, the OSI Analyst plays a central role in enhancing the Search Team’s response by ensuring that OSI relevant to the Syria caseload is systematically collected, verified, organized, and made available for analysis. This includes both historical data gathered in the aftermath of the fall of the former Syrian government and any new OSI that emerges, with the aim of contributing to the documentation of protection concerns and providing leads and linkage of information to aid the search for missing persons.</p>
<p>S/he contributes to the identification of thematic and geographic priorities for OSI collection, supports the triangulation of findings with internal data, witness accounts, GIS information, and privileged data obtained from external organizations through data sharing agreements. The OSI Analyst ensures that the use of OSI follows a rigorous, ethical, and protection-sensitive methodology.</p>
<p>This position supports the analysis of individual cases and internal data particularly in light of available OSI and privileged external data obtained through data sharing agreements. Working in close coordination with PFL researchers, Forensic experts, A&E analysts, the OSI Analyst contributes to building a solid and actionable knowledge base to inform search strategies, documentation efforts, providing leads to aid the Search. </p>
<p>The OSI Analyst also advises on best practices for data sourcing and verification, develops tools and procedures for quality control, and ensures that the data produced can support timely and evidence-based decision-making, including opportunities to provide partial results to families of the missing. Additionally, the OSI Analyst contributes to institutional working groups focused on building data science and AI foundations for protection work, with the Syria Missing File serving as a key use case.</p>

As a contributor to Project aiming at Building the Data Science and AI Foundations for Protection work, for which Syria Missing has been identified as a use case, this position works closely with the Protection Business process owner, the Syria Missing Coordination Cell and other colleagues in HQ and in the field associated to this project.</li>
<li>Externally: In close coordination with the PFL Deputy Protection Coordinator in Damascus, DAM PROT and the Syria Missing Coordination Cell, engages with organizations that act as repositories of relevant data (e.g., IIIM, IIMP, SJAC, CIJA etc.), as well as other stakeholders contributing to the clarification of the fate and whereabouts of missing persons.</li>

<p><strong><u>ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p>

<li>Works closely with protection staff and coordination to complement documentation efforts in the field, provide supplementary analysis of priority events, and monitor trends to inform follow-up action.</li>
<li>Undertakes identification, verification (including geolocation, chronolocation and source assessment), and advanced analysis of digital material, and produces clear analytical outputs in support of the Search Team, including but not limited to incident reports, analytical notes, relational charts, timelines. Triangulates OSI findings with internal case data, witness accounts, forensic information, and privileged external data obtained through data sharing agreements, to generate and validate leads for the search for missing persons.</li>
<li>Proactively identifies and, on request, responds to leads relating to the fate and whereabouts of missing persons, and advises the Search Team on potential sources of information, including electronic media, social media, potential witnesses (victims, insiders, experts, or others), telecommunications data, and archives</li>
<li>Implements and advances established open-source research methodologies to ensure professional standards and adherence to ICRC NIIHA approach throughout the analytical process.</li>
<li>Regularly monitors, reviews, and analyses open-source information related to the missing (historical and new caseload) and to protection, and integrates internal case data to provide an updated analytical picture relevant to the Search Team and the situation in Syria. Monitors and assesses trends related to the conduct of hostilities and related to protection concerns through secondary data, including open-source data, to provide timely and reliable information to guide decision-making.</li>
<li>Maintains a structured record of verified findings, coordinates, source materials, and analytical decisions to ensure the traceability, defensibility, and reproducibility of analytical outputs.</li>
<li>Participates in institutional initiatives, such as the Data Science and AI Foundations project, by contributing insights from field-based case analysis. This position may be required to test tools (either identified or developed within the project framework) and evaluate their functionality for the Search.</li>
