Training Opportunity in Precision Metal Grinding: Aqaba, October 17, 2026Training Program Title: Grinding TechnicianThe Water Governance Activity (WGA) project, sponsored by the United States government, will hold a specialized training program in metal grinding. The program aims to develop trainees' skills in the safe and precise use of grinding tools and equipment, equipment maintenance, and executing finishing work in accordance with quality requirements in the industrial sector. The program offers beginners and workers with limited experience the opportunity for practical and theoretical training on selecting appropriate grinding discs, operating tools, performing basic inspections and maintenance, and executing precision grinding while paying attention to details, the effect of heat on metal, and the properties of different materials. The Water Governance Activity project will cover the costs of conducting this program (accommodation and transportation are not included), at the Gulf Engineering Testing Est.
