<p><h4>Job role - Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Mission Critical (Data Centres)</h4> <p>Verbal and written communication in English is mandatory.</p> <p><strong>Strong experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years in data center/mission critical projects</li> <li>Hyperscale/colocation data center experience</li> <li>UAE/KSA (GCC) project exposure</li> <li>Client-facing leadership and business development experience</li> <li>Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in a consulting environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the design, integration, and delivery of electrical and MEP systems for mission-critical data centre projects.</li> <li>Provide technical governance by reviewing and approving engineering deliverables aligned with global standards and client requirements.</li> <li>Drive development of modular, cloud, colocation, and hyperscale data centre solutions.</li> <li>Act as the primary client interface, building trusted advisory relationships across key accounts in the region.</li> <li>Lead technical workshops, design reviews, and senior stakeholder presentations.</li> <li>Own project strategy, ensuring delivery excellence across lifecycle stages from concept to execution.</li> <li>Drive business development including bid leadership, proposal strategy, and commercial positioning.</li> <li>Identify and capitalize on opportunities in digital infrastructure, hyperscale, and cloud ecosystems.</li> <li>Collaborate with regional leadership to expand the mission-critical/data centre service offering.</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, civil, and architecture.</li> <li>Oversee resource planning, utilization, and capability development within the data centre practice.</li> <li>Ensure all solutions meet benchmarks for resilience, sustainability, scalability, and operational efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.</li> <li>12+ years of experience in mission-critical/data centre design, delivery, or advisory.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Tier standards, NFPA, ASHRAE, Uptime Institute guidelines.</li> <li>Proven experience in GCC markets (UAE and/or KSA).</li> <li>Experience working with large consultancies or international engineering firms.</li> <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities.</li> </ul></p><p></p>
