<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>About The Role Team Purpose Institutional funding is key for operationalizing Oxfam s mandate globally and in the region. Institutional sources (including multilateral and bilateral agencies and donors) typically have decentralised operations, budgets and decision-making structures throughout the world. To engage effectively with these organisations Oxfam has an established global architecture that mirrors its key institutional relationships, builds stronger partnerships and delivers greater impact and influence at country, regional and global levels. This operational architecture also enables Oxfam to more readily purse multi-country / regional opportunities that are offered by institutional donors to address transnational issues such as migration, climate change, natural disasters and conflicts. Humanitarian crises which often cross-national borders also require standing capacity at regional levels to most effectively mobilise resources. Job Purpose The Regional Business Development Manager will lead on new business development in support of all countries in their region; creating, identifying and accessing new funding opportunities; maintaining a consistent standard of donor relationship and high-quality proposal development across variable country contexts; and will actively seek to grow income for the confederation through multi-country funding opportunities and consortium partnerships. The Regional Business Development Manager will also support the Regional Director in providing strategic leadership on resource mobilisation across all countries in the region. They will be responsible for developing and implementing the regions resource mobilisation strategies; supporting the Regional Director in building partnerships with regional donors and civil society stakeholders; identifying new funding opportunities; addressing key financial and reputational risks; and ensuring that there are strategies in place to maintain adequate skills and capacity, staffing and income within the portfolio of countries in the region. The post holder will be expected to work across the confederation of Oxfam affiliates and the Oxfam International Secretariat in achieving the regional funding strategy and be the primary link for accessing technical fundraising assistance and support from the confederations fundraising architecture. Key responsibilities: • New business development : (15%) Actively identifies, qualifies and tracks funding and partnership opportunities in a systematic manner in pursuit of supporting Oxfam s program in the region. Seeks to grow income for the confederation through multi country funding opportunities and scoping new consortium partnerships with stakeholders at regional level for multi-country programming. • Resource mobilisation strategies: (15%) Leads the design and implementation of regional resource mobilisation strategies intended to strengthen income and partnerships to deliver Oxfam s regional and country strategies. Responsible for ensuring that the regional programs are adequately resourced. Monitors the funding pipeline and leads on income and donor analysis, planning and forecasting at a regional level. Collaborating to support confederation public fundraising by effective matching of program needs within the region to affiliate based public fundraising efforts. • Strategic donor engagement: (20%) Responsible for managing and building Oxfam s relationships with institutional donor representatives within a regional or multi-country context. Proactively engages on a strategic basis with institutional donors at regional level in order to facilitate technical programme exchanges, influence policy and thinking, and identify key areas of potential cooperation, including program funding. • Bid development: (10%) Prepares all necessary groundwork for multi-country or multi-regional proposal development and bid management 1, helps assemble bid development teams, provides effective bid project management at regional level and undertakes quality assurance of donor proposals to ensure high quality competitive proposals in order to successfully secure institutional donor funds at scale. • Coordination: (15%) Co-ordinates funding teams in the region to position SWANA in global and regional call for proposals, to strengthen business development activities. Links with the confederation funding architecture to access intelligence, opportunities and skills. Brokering and streamlining assistance from technical advisers and donor account managers in affiliate HQs and shared services. Supports staff within the region to adhere to funding policies and guidelines of the confederation. • Support to country offices (25%) : the post holder will provide support to funding teams in Oxfam s country offices to develop funding strategies; recruit funding roles; induct, coach / accompany funding leads at country level; facilitate the informal funding network in SWANA; ad hoc support to country funding colleagues on major funding opportunities; among others • Management: Provide line management for any regional funding staff and functional matrix management for in-country funding staff across the region ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in resource mobilisation from one country to another. Responsibilities
<p>The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the 9th Air Force, a key component of the United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) overseeing operations in the Middle East. This position provides subject matter expertise to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, helping ensure base security and critical support services in one of the most dynamic and strategically important regions in the world. <p><strong>About Development Gateway and ASAS</strong><br>Development Gateway: An IREX Venture (DG) is an international non-profit organization that works at the intersection of data, digital systems, and development programming. DG is one of several consortium partners led by IREX implementing the Early Grade Education Activity (EGEA, also known as ASAS) in Jordan, a large-scale and fast-paced education program running from 2023 to 2028. Within ASAS, DG supports key activities related to information systems, data use, interoperability, governance, analytics, and coordination with universities, consortium members, and government stakeholders in Jordan.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br>The Senior ASAS Program Coordinator will be a full-time, in-person role based in Amman, Jordan. This role serves as a central coordination and operations focal point for DG s work under the ASAS consortium. It is designed for a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented professional who can keep multiple workflows moving simultaneously while ensuring strong coordination across DG, IREX, consultants, vendors, universities, and government counterparts. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, rapidly understand and apply both DG and IREX systems and compliance requirements, and maintain close alignment with consortium priorities, timelines, and ways of working. <p><strong>Project Background:</strong></p>
<p>The Jordan Himaya Activity aims to enhance the availability and quality of essential services and protection for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Jordan. The project works to improve survivor-centered institutional capacity and strengthen the legislative and policy frameworks that protect survivors and support effective responses to violence. Himaya applies a survivor-centered systems-strengthening approach to improve response services, and the implementation of survivor-centered legislation and policies.</p>
<p>As part of this effort, the Comprehensive Service Center (CSC) in East Amman is being established by the Family Protection and Juvenile Department (FPJD) as Jordan’s first fully co-located One-Stop Shop (OSS) for domestic and sexual violence response services. It will bring together relevant government and civil society service providers under one roof to support coordinated, confidential, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered access to protection, legal, health, psychosocial, social assistance, and referral services.</p>
<p>To support safe, accessible, and confidential navigation throughout the CSC, Himaya seeks a consultant to develop an internal and external wayfinding and signage system that promotes accessibility, privacy, reduces confusion and unnecessary waiting, and supports an empowering survivor-centered environment.</p>
<p>The CSC comprises of Three floors, with an approximate gross floor area of 3,754.14 m². The facility is designed to accommodate multiple government and partner service providers withing a single integrated survivor-centered environment. <p><strong>Role’s Purpose:</strong></p>
<p>The consultant will design a comprehensive internal and external wayfinding and signage system for the CSC. The system should enable survivors and visitors to navigate the center safely, clearly, and with dignity, while supporting accessibility, confidentiality, trauma-informed service delivery, operational flow, and coordination across co-located service providers.</p>
<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>The consultant is expected to carry out the following: </p>

The Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) and the Crisis Bureau (CB) are the two anchor Bureaux of the GPN.</p><br> <p>In this context, the newly established Governance, Rule of Law, and Peacebuilding (GRP) Hub, a joint endeavour with the Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS), provides leadership and advisory services to enhance UNDP’s impact on governance and peacebuilding, ensuring the integration of democratic governance and human rights into crisis response and recovery. Since 2015, local governments and their associations have been increasingly active in promoting the SDGs through advocacy, working with their local population and partners in transposing the spirit of Agenda 2030 in cities and territories. As part of the SDG Local Action project, UNDP is one of the implementing partners of the Mayors Challenge, a global initiative to reimagine the most essential services that cities deliver to residents.</p><br> <p>Within this context, the SDG Local Action project is seeking to recruit a<strong> Project Coordinator </strong>to support the implementation of the Mayors Challenge in the city of As-Salt (Jordan), one of the winners of the 2025 Mayors Challenge. The As Salt project aims to establish a training centre for the restoration of heritage buildings, training local residents on restoration skills to preserve their heritage, revive their buildings and repurpose them. </p><br> <p>As-Salt is home of thousands of heritage buildings, with a magnificent architectural character that tells the city’s rich history and connects its owners with their ancestors. Today, these buildings, once vibrant and full of life, have fallen into disrepair due to neglect, lack of awareness about their importance and a shortage of restoration specialist and high maintenance costs. About 70% of them are dilapidated and abandoned, posing a threat to residents and visitors. The project will transform the urban heritage of As Salt into a sustainable economic, social and cultural engine. By establishing the Heritage Building Restoration Training at the Beit Falah Al Hamad Heritage site, the city will be leading an integrated model that will create skills to create local and regional job opportunities. The project will also work with the owners of heritage buildings, providing legal support, financial incentives and technical support, connecting them with the new graduates. The project will also work to project a new image for the city to attract tourism, culture and investment in partnership with city society and the private sector, including banks and microfinance institutions.</p><br> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <p>The <strong>Project Coordinator </strong>will perform the following functions:</p><br> <p><strong>A.
