<p><h4>Description</h4>
<p>The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities across target enterprise, corporate, and government segments. <p>The GIZ Jordan Project <strong>“Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan”</strong><strong> (PARtner II)</strong><strong>” </strong>is seeking to hire a “<strong>Public Administration Advisor</strong>” based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.</p>
<p>The project “Improved Governance for the Support of Reform Projects in Jordan” (PARtner II) is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented from April 2026 to March 2030. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH will implement the project on behalf of the German government, in partnership with the Prime Ministry of the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.</p>
<p>The project builds on its predecessor “PARtner I” and enhances the capacities of the public administration in Jordan. Under the umbrella of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap and the Economic Modernization Vision, it will continue to support the transformation of the public sector. Aiming at a more efficient, effective public administration which is responsive to citizens’ and businesses’ needs, as well as transparent, evidence-informed decision-making, this project delivers critical support to the wider Jordanian reform agenda.</p>
<p><strong><u>Qualifications and specialist knowledge</u></strong></p>

<li>University degree in Political Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a comparable field. An advanced degree is desirable.</li>

Building on the achievements of its predecessor project, PARtner I, the project contributes to the implementation of the Public Sector Modernisation Roadmap and the Economic Modernisation Vision by strengthening institutional capacities, improving governance processes, and promoting evidence-based decision-making. Through its work with high-level government partners, PARtner II helps foster a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented public administration, creating lasting impact for governance and sustainable development in Jordan.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Specialist Knowledge</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>University degree in Public Administration, Economics, Social or Political Sciences, Public Policy, or a comparable field. An advanced degree is desirable.</li>
<li>5 years of professional experience relevant to the duties.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Jordan’s administrative structures, ongoing reform processes (especially PSMR and EMV), and the relevant stakeholder landscape.</li>
<li>Experience in advising governmental institutions (desirable: the Prime Ministry), ideally in the context of managing, implementing and monitoring ongoing Jordanian public administration reforms.</li>
<li>Practical experience in organizational development and in the planning and implementation of capacity development measures in the public sector.</li>
<li>Ability to strategically position reform and innovation topics within a development cooperation context.</li>

<p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Provide technical and methodological advisory support to the Project Management and Implementation Office within the Prime Ministry (PMIO) in advancing and implementing the Public Sector Modernisation Roadmap (PSMR).</li>
<li>Support PMIO and line ministries in identifying, prioritising, and shaping high-impact reform initiatives and flagship projects, particularly at the interface between public sector modernisation and economic development (PSMR–EMV).</li>
<li>Design, coordinate, and implement Capacity Development (CD) and organisational development measures in close cooperation with governmental counterparts.</li>
<li>Coordinate project activities and ensure effective collaboration with relevant government institutions, development partners, consultants, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Advise on innovative reform approaches and international good practices and contribute to knowledge management and learning processes in the field of public sector modernisation.</li>
