<p>INSO is seeking an experienced Information Manager to lead the Afghanistan team’s Information Management function. The role ensures the effective management and use of security and operational data that supports humanitarian organisations operating in complex environments.</p>
<p>The Information Manager oversees key systems such as the Conflict & Humanitarian Data Centre (CHDC) and the INSO Partner Portal, while transforming data into clear visual products—charts, maps, and dashboards—used in reports and analysis.</p>
<p>Working closely with programme teams, partners, and HQ, the Information Manager helps strengthen data systems and workflows that enable humanitarian actors to operate more safely and effectively.</p>
<p>Main responsibilities</p>

Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts. Provides day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues. Implements the brand’s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel’s’ sales objectives. Evaluates the property’s participation in the various sales channels (e.g., Area Sales, Group Sales within the Sales Office, electronic lead channels, etc.) and develops strong working relationships to proactively position and market the property. Manages the marketing budget to enable development of property specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives. Interfaces with regional marketing communications for regional and national promotions pull through. <p>The Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan is seeking a Project Manager- DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction / Water Team) for the implementation of the <em>National Flood Mapping Programme (NFMP project)</em>, a Jordan - Swiss initiative for flood management. The project is currently based at the Swiss Cooperation Office (SCO) at the Embassy in Amman and is expected to be hosted within or close to the Ministry of Water and Irrigation later on.</p>
<p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>The Project Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Swiss-funded National Flood Mapping Programme (NFMP) and leads the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) at the Swiss Cooperation Office within the Embassy. The program aims at strengthening flood risk mapping and institutional capacity within Government of Jordan. The Project Manager collaborates closely with key Jordanian partner institutions, principally with the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) and the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI). In this second phase of the program, the PIU is expected to be transferred to a governmental entity to support the institutionalisation of the program achievements. The position also serves as the Swiss Embassy’s and SDC’s focal point for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), ensuring coherence, coordination, and synergies across DRR-related initiatives in Jordan and the region, contributing to strategic DRR positioning, policy dialogue, technical leadership, and cross-programme integration within SDC’s regional portfolio. <li>Coordinate, facilitate and lead discussions on technical topics and negotiate in decision making processes with the relevant Ministries, including the Swiss Federal Office of Environment.</li>
<li>Represent the Embassy of Switzerland in national meetings and coordination platforms on the topic of DRR in line with the Embassy’s defined objectives and priorities.</li>

Water/Environmental Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5-years experience in International Cooperation or related field; or bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Hydraulics, Water/Environmental Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in international cooperation or related field.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of the mandates and working modalities of the various stakeholders involved in DRR in Jordan (Ministries, donors, Implementing agencies. etc.).</li>
<li>Good knowledge of the political, economic and social situations Jordan</li>
<li>Working knowledge of DRR, risk and/or flood hazard mapping and Geographic information System (GIS); Knowledge in GIS and hydraulic modeling’s an asset.</li>
<li>Strong experience in project management, financial and administrative procedures (incl. procurements).</li>

<br></span><p>The Regional Freight & Commercial Manager is responsible for driving profitable freight growth and commercial performance across Jordan, Iraq, Kurdistan, Palestine, and Turkey. <br><p> Commercial & Business Development</p><br><br>
<p>• Develop and execute the regional freight growth strategy across all assigned countries.<br>• Drive revenue, gross profit, and volume growth for Air, Ocean, and Land Freight products.<br>• Partner with Country Managers and Commercial Teams to achieve freight sales targets and business objectives.<br>• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and trade lanes to expand regional freight revenue.<br>• Support strategic customer acquisition, retention, and development initiatives.<br>• Lead commercial negotiations with key customers and strategic accounts.<br>• Participate in major customer presentations, tenders, and contract negotiations.<br>• Develop customized logistics and freight solutions based on customer requirements.<br>• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.<br>• Lead cross-selling initiatives between Freight, Express, Supply Chain, and E-commerce products.<br>• Support countries in recovering lost business and expanding existing customer portfolios.</p><br><br>

<p>• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic and high-value customers.<br>• Act as the regional escalation point for major customer concerns and service issues.<br>• Conduct regular customer visits across the region.<br>• Ensure customer requirements are translated into operationally feasible and profitable solutions.<br>• Review customer profitability and implement improvement plans where required.<br>• Support stations in resolving claims, disputes, service failures, and performance-related issues.<br>• Drive customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.</p><br><br>
<p> Pricing & Procurement</p><br><br>
<p>• Develop regional pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and profitability objectives.<br>• Approve strategic pricing, special rates, and commercial exceptions within delegated authority.<br>• Lead procurement negotiations with airlines, shipping lines, trucking companies, consolidators, and logistics partners.<br>• Secure competitive rates and capacity agreements across key trade lanes.<br>• Monitor freight margins and implement corrective actions where necessary.<br>• Support RFQs, tenders, bids, and large project opportunities.<br>• Ensure pricing governance and consistency across all countries.</p><br><br>
<p> Operations & Product Management</p><br><br>
<p>• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.<br>• Standardize freight operating procedures and best practices across the cluster.<br>• Ensure proper implementation and compliance with Freight SOPs, CargoWise processes, and operational standards.<br>• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce operational costs.<br>• Collaborate with Global and Regional Product Teams on product development and network optimization.<br>• Support stations in managing complex shipments, project cargo, and special handling requirements.<br>• Ensure operational KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.<br>• Oversee the entire lifecycle of freight shipments, ensuring timely and efficient execution from booking to delivery</p><br><br>Job Requirements - Experience and Education
<br><p>• 10-12 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation.<br>• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or regional management role.<br>• Strong experience in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Land Freight, and Project Logistics.<br>• Proven commercial and business development experience.<br>• Experience managing multi-country operations is highly preferred.<br>• Strong understanding of regional trade lanes and logistics markets across the Middle East.<br>• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.<br>• MBA or Professional Logistics Certification is preferred.</p><br><br>Leadership Behaviors

<p>Should have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all the outlets' unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies and those of the competition.<br>
Identify and target potential market opportunities to expand the business.<br>
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients.<br>
Work closely with the Sales & Revenue Department as the point of contact for all F&B related bookings and enquiries, in close coordination with the Outlet Managers to promote special events and occasions.<br>
Achieve all individual hotel food & beverage sales targets in your area by maintaining and creating a close relationship with customers.<br>
Generate new and maintain existing customer relationships through various sales activities and create awareness of the hotel outlets and facilities through face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, site inspections, etc., to ensure complete coverage of own portfolio of accounts and achieve set targets and maximum possible productivity.<br>
Ensure that all incoming requests are addressed within 24 hours in order to avoid customer complaints and loss of business.<br>
Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues in order to avoid internal or external complaints.<br>
Closely monitor the accounts' revenue and business production of own business portfolio and maintain an up-to-date “Account & Contact Database” in the property management system as well as maintain end of month production reports.<br>
Update the hotel on the negotiation/progress of every event and use the technology available for communication and client correspondence.<br>
Provide feedback to the Director of Food & Beverage on changing market conditions, review direct competition and conduct regular research to identify new selling strategies.<br>
Participate in any training and development programs as recommended by senior management.<br>
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.<br>
Conduct site inspections with prospective and existing clients.<br>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>
