Responsibilities
<p>The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the 9th Air Force, a key component of the United States Air Force Central Command (AFCENT) overseeing operations in the Middle East. This position provides subject matter expertise to the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, helping ensure base security and critical support services in one of the most dynamic and strategically important regions in the world. The 9th Air Force serves at other locations such as Al Dhafra AB, UAE; Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait; Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait; Prince Sultan AB (PSAB), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA); Muwaffaq-Salti AB (MSAB), Jordan; Al Udeid AB, Qatar and in CONUS.</p><br> <p>The Contractor shall:</p><br>
<p>- Brief the Chief of Security Forces and commanders on crimes and incidents involving base personnel.</p><br>
<p>- Review, process, suspense, and distribute traffic incident and accident reports, tickets, complaints, and incident and information reports.</p><br>
<p>- Review final actions and responses by commanders and supervisors to ensure timeliness and appropriateness, and takes action as required.</p><br>

NRC is implementing a Shelter Programme in Zaatari and Azraq refugee camps in Jordan to improve the living conditions of refugees through the provision of adequate shelter assistance and support to meet their basic needs. The Shelter Technical Assistant is responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring shelter maintenance and construction activities, ensuring that implementation is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and in accordance with approved technical specifications, quality standards, and NRC procedures.</p>

<p><b>Action Against Hunger (ACF)</b> Action Against Hunger is a leading humanitarian and development agency working to combat the causes of hunger and malnutrition in over 46 countries worldwide. Eleven years into the Syrian conflict, more than 1.3 million Syrians have sought refuge in Jordan. This influx of refugees has strained Jordan's economy and resources, with Syrians often accepting worse working conditions and lower compensation than Jordanians and taking on low-skill, informal jobs in sectors such as in manufacturing, construction and agriculture. In 2022, Jordan had a 23% unemployment rate. For Syrian refugees, unemployment rates are significantly worse with 80% of Syrian refugees unemployed in 2021, up from 50% and 65% in 2019 and 2020. </p><p>Action Against Hunger has been operational in Jordan since 2014, delivering livelihoods, social protection WASH and MHPSS programming in Irbid, Zarqa, Mafraq, and Madaba governorates. Through its livelihoods and social protection program, ACF aims to improve the livelihoods status of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians through decent and sustainable employment opportunities; strengthening sustainable livelihoods and value chains and enhancing the capacity of local actors to promote economic opportunities and improve working conditions. So far, ACF has reached over 6,000 beneficiaries through its social protection and livelihood activities in 2022. Action Against Hunger is also an active member of the Livelihoods, Basic Needs, Food Security and Durable Solutions Working Groups; Graduation Approach and Vocational Training Taskforces; and Common Cash Facility Steering Committee.</p><p><b>ACF</b> is looking for its program in Jordan for<b> Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Project Assistant.</b></p><p><b>Main place of work:</b> Madaba Governorate - Waleh Dam</p><p><b>Position Overview: </b>The Project Assistant will play a key role in supporting the implementation of infrastructure and watershed management projects focused on erosion control, water retention structures, and Cash-for-Work (CfW) activities. Under the supervision of the Field Supervisor and Project Manager, the Project Assistant will support technical activities, community engagement, and field monitoring while ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and environmental standards. The role will also involve coordinating with stakeholders, supporting data collection, and ensuring smooth communication between project teams and the local community.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>1) Cash for Work (CfW) Supervision and Work safety </b></p><p>· Monitor the participation and performance of CfW workers, ensuring fair Conduct a comprehensive mapping of stakeholders, digital solutions, and the broader ecosystem in Jordan.<br> Work Location<br>HQA<br> Expected duration<br>6 months<br> Duties and Responsibilities<br>Scope of work: The consultant will conduct a comprehensive technical assessment to evaluate the interoperability and integration of UNRWA's upcoming Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system with Jordan's national health information ecosystem. The assignment includes reviewing UNRWA's existing digital health architecture, analyzing national health information systems and interoperability capabilities, assessing applicable international digital health standards, and providing technical inputs on legal and regulatory considerations related to data governance and information sharing. The consultant will identify technical, operational, institutional, and cybersecurity risks, propose appropriate mitigation measures, and develop a costed implementation roadmap aligned with UNRWA's EMR implementation phases. The work will be carried out using a combination of document reviews, technical analyses, stakeholder consultations, workshops, validation sessions, and comparative assessments of international best practices, while engaging relevant external stakeholders in an exploratory and non-committal manner to inform evidence-based recommendations. Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: 4.1 System Landscape Assessment • Review UNRWA’s current digital health system architecture, workflows, and reporting mechanisms. • Analyze the proposed design of the upcoming EMR system funded by KfW. • Document current reporting requirements to national health authorities. 4.2 Host Country HIS/HMIS Analysis • Assess the national health information ecosystem in Jordan. • Identify systems used by relevant stakeholders, including, but not limited to, the Ministry of Health. • Document: o System architecture o Data standards o APIs and interoperability capabilities o Reporting requirements o Data governance structures • Jordan Ministry of Health • National HMIS operators • Digital health governance entities. 4.3 Interoperability and Standards Review The consultant will evaluate: • International digital health interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, ICD classifications). • Data exchange mechanisms. • Health information architecture compatibility. • Patient identity management considerations. • Data quality and validation requirements. 4.4 Legal and Regulatory Assessment The consultant will provide technical inputs and coordinate with the legal department, and will not independently determine legal, regulatory, or compliance positions.
